One thing makes recovering from a c-section extra-hard: Your baby! If you could just loll in bed all day nursing that slice on your belly, you could recover with (relative) ease. But instead, you're recovering while all the while caring for a small human who needs to be fed, held, hefted up and down, bathed, and so on.
We can't help you when you're alone in the night in your nursing chair. But we can make the lifting-the-baby-up-and-down part a whole lot easier.
Most baby bouncers sit on the floor and hold baby somewhere around your calves. Putting your baby down there is painful; picking her back up again can be tears-in-the-corners-of-your-eyes awful. That's why I like the Babymoov Swoon Up Bouncer (Toysrus, $159.99):
