How I turn bath time from a chore into a joy

Sometimes it's the littlest things that make parenting so rewarding and bring me the most joy: Those early-morning smiles when my daughter wakes up and declares: "DOG-DOG!" When I'm nursing her and she makes eye contact and giggles. When we are playing peek-a-boo for the 865th time in a row and she lets out a belly laugh (worth more than a unicorn that poops diamonds so I go for round 866). When I am trying to get any chores done around the house but she has mastered buckling the highchair so every 30 seconds I'm interrupted by a request to unbuckle. And of course, bath time.
If you have ever seen my Instagram account you would know what a special occasion bath time is for me and my daughter, Eloise.
At least once a week I try to give her a new spin on the same old sink bath. So I'm always thinking about new ways to make her baths creative and fun for both of us, because let's be real: mamas and dads need to keep ourselves entertained during the repetitive routines too.
Eloise and I have experimented with everything from milk baths to flying rubber ducks, overflowing bubbles, and slices of citrus. That being said, since Eloise has sensitive skin, I have to take care to only add non-irritating ingredients and to use gentle, nourishing products.
