How to start the day right with your baby

I am a firm believer that if you start your day out right you will always have a good day. For me, as a mom, it means waking up earlier than my kids to get my chores done and get dressed for the day. For my kids it means a solid, loving routine -- that's where they need my help.
I love that moment in the morning when you open the door to your baby's room and are greeted by a sleepy, smiley baby. It's something I treasure every day. That smile is everything.
We start off our day by snuggling, reading a few books together, and singing some songs before we head downstairs for breakfast. I know my little one looks forward to it in the morning, but to be honest, I enjoy it just as much.
With the rush, rush, rush of everyday life, it is important to be present for those little moments of time you have to bond and love on your baby. We stick to the same quick but fun routine each morning so that our littles know what to expect and can rely on that morning fun together before we start our day.
Here are some things to do each morning before you head out for the day:
1. Snuggle.
Who doesn't love snuggling" Before I even get my baby dressed for the day we have a little snuggle. She snuggles her giraffe blankie and enjoys some cozy time with Mom before the hustle of the day begins.
2. Play games.
Once your little one is ready to play, take a minute to play some fun games with her. I have never met a baby who didn't love "Peekaboo...
