How young is too young to take a shower"

What mom hasn?t asked her partner to hand the baby into the shower for a quick rinse" It?s a time-saver, but may also be a dangerous gamble. Because that slippery, squirmy little body is threatening to slide out of your arms from the first heart-pounding moment under the shower head, to the hand-off back into a warm, cozy hooded towel.
No, it?s much easier to bathe a baby until, well, when"
That is the question: How young is too young for the shower"
I?ve tried having my 4-year-old shower, and it?s just too stressful. Her feet are slipping all over the place like she?s in some Vaudeville act. She's trying to dodge the water as if it?s hydrochloric acid and crying hysterically to get out as I lean in to keep her standing upright and keep the shampoo out of her eyes. Then my shirt is soaked, so I might as well have showered with her, which means I can't shave anything, and then I become a hairy wildebeest. So, no. My 6-year-old on the other hand, seems to have graduated from baths to showers, permanently. I can leave her in the shower to do her business, and pretty much go about my evening. All I need to do is maybe remind her to use conditioner, and hand her a towel at the end of her shower.
With my 8-year-old, it?s just me yelling up the stairs, ?Get in the shower!? Then, once I?ve noticed the water is running like half an hour later, I follow up with, ?Time to get out!? No, I check on her every so often to make sure...
