I'm a survivor of the "Frozen" short that played before "Coco"
by Maggie Downs posted in Life
I have been to hell and back, and still I live to tell the tale.
And by that, I mean I successfully made it through 45 minutes of previews, advertisements, and a never-ending Frozen short when I took my 3-year-old son to see Coco.
Seriously, that Frozen short, called Olaf's Frozen Adventure, pushed the boundaries of the definition of "short." By the time we left the theater, my son was graduating high school and had a prom date. That?s how long the Frozen short was.
When children are crying and begging for the film to begin, your short is too long.
When people wonder if they are in the right theater, your short is too long.
When I develop 17 new wrinkles, qualify for an AARP card, and have my first grandchild while still captive in the audience, your short is too long.
