I can't wait until I'm 12 weeks pregnant to break my news

When it's your fourth time around, it's kinda hard to wait until you're 12 weeks pregnant to break the news to family and friends. And strangers.
Because although it took 5 months for me to look even remotely pregnant with my first baby, by the fourth, pretty much as soon as a I peed on a stick and saw a plus sign, I started to show.
As my best friend said when I sent her this picture, "Good luck hiding that."
Exactly. Honestly, I had to start wearing maternity jeans by 6 weeks. Unless I wanted to literally cut my circulation off in my regular ones. But, besides the obvious belly, my behavior gives me away. I'm as sick as a dog. It isn't easy to act like nothing's going on when you are clutching a can of ginger ale or a cup of ice chips while you pick your kids up from school.
How ironic that it's supposedly taboo to reveal the news before you're 12 weeks pregnant when the first trimester is one of the times you need the most support. I'm really struggling to make it through the day, yet technically, I'm expected to do everything in my power to conceal my "condition."
Hopefully no one saw me housing potato chips in Target today.
