I used to be nice, then I got pregnant

Eight months ago if you would have asked someone to describe me, most of the responses would have ranged from "Oh, Brandi is so nice!" to "I love her, she's so sweet!" Of course, there are some folks who don't like me at all, but the majority of people I know have good things to say about me. Every since I was young, I've been able to get along with just about anyone, because I'm empathetic, diplomatic, and a bit of a people pleaser, too.
Then I got pregnant. Nice Brandi with the polite tone and ability to talk through conflict in a way that made everyone forget there was a problem in the first place was replaced by Pregnant Brandi.
Pregnant Brandi does not care about tone. Pregnant Brandi does not care about feelings.
Pregnant Brandi does not have a filter.
(Also, apparently, Pregnant Brandi talks about herself in third person. So weird!)
At the beginning of my pregnancy I couldn't understand why I wasn't able to control myself when someone did or said something ridiculous around me. Instead of just letting it go like I did during my pre-conception existence, I opened my mouth and addressed situations head on, with no filter at all. There was no sugarcoating, no beating around the bush. I started using the least amount of words possible to get the point across.
This was a change for me. Â I used to have tact! I used to be nice! Even when I was handling difficult situations via email, I'd lead in with a well...
