Kelly Clarkson gave her kid Nutella - and no, it's not child abuse

In case you missed it, Kelly Clarkson gave her 2-year-old daughter River her first taste of Nutella recently, and the Internet collectively lost its mind as a result.
"Yep. Start them out with cancer at an early age."
"Check the ingredients! You may rethink it in future."
"Nutella is PACKED with sugars. Don't make your kids blow up."
"Giving food like this to a child is child abuse."
"Nutella is hella bad for you."
"....Sugar is literally a drug and it starts out with small things given to them especially at a young age."
"Keep giving your small children junk. Mines healthy as f*ck, eats right and only gets up to 15 grams added sugar a day.... There are so many things you could give a kid that is just as sweet but actually healthy.... Good luck when they get older and fat." Judging from these comments, you might be thinking that Kelly dunked her protesting toddler into a vat of Nutella and left her there for 3 days, but no. The singer shared a video of the "crime" on Instagram. It shows River - who is so adorable, by the way - sitting at the kitchen counter, munching on a piece of toast smeared with the chocolate hazelnut spread.
"River, do you like Nutella"" Kelly asks.
"Yeah," River answers, complete with a cute little happy dance.
Cue the outrage.
