Kid-tested: Instant Pot honey garlic chicken
by Lindsay Weiss posted in Life
Every single member of my picky-eating family requested we add this one "to the rotation" so I figured I'd RUN, not walk, to tell you about it.
If you don't have an Instant Pot, this one can totally be done in a saute pan. The beauty of the Instant Pot is 1) how fast it cooks everything and 2) the fact that you can do everything in one pot.
I'm sure the reason the kids love this is that there's lots of honey in it. But the sweet is tempered with the savory garlic and a small hint of spice with the sriracha. You can add sriracha more liberally if desired, but we have some wimps in my family.
The chicken comes out SO tender and flavorful. I might even double the sauce next time so we can scoop more over rice. It's lick-the-bowl kind of sauce.
Serve with some broccoli or snow peas...they're really great dipped in the sauce too! Looking for more Sweets and Eats for the Whole Family" Find Lindsay at Sugar Mama.
