Need to keep some little hands busy while prepping for Easter" (Or when you're trying to make dinner") Voila. My kids had a blast making these yesterday and could not be more delighted with themselves. Their favorite part was using the frosting as "glue" -- because so much of it ended up in their mouths -- and setting their own special Peep "driver" in their custom race cars.
The only part I had to help with was cutting a small rectangle out of the Twinkie so Mr. Peep had a place to sit. Everything else the kids "glued" themselves, so it was a pretty hands-off project for me!
If you have family in town for Easter, these would make the best little kid project. And, as a bonus, they'll have a ready-made dessert (which they'll likely prefer over any fancy pies or cakes). Looking for more Sweets and Eats for the Whole Family" Find Lindsay at Sugar Mama.

Easter Bunny Race Cars

If you can't find the white frosted pretzels with sprinkles on them, just get regular white fudge pretzels and stick 'em in the microwave for 15 seconds. Then let your kids sprinkle all over them and put in the freezer for five minutes to re-set.
