Kids in the kitchen: Easy Valentine's dipped cookies
by Lindsay Weiss posted in Life
This easy recipe is something even toddler hands can handle. I did it with my preschooler and he meticulously dipped and sprinkled all 50 cookies. (Anything that can hold his attention that long is a freakin' miracle!)
I took him to the store with me so he could pick out his own sprinkles. I don't know why it was so exciting but it literally made his day. While there, we grabbed the strawberry wafer cookies and some almond bark for melting and dipping. That's all you need!
I melted the almond bark in the microwave while he laid out all of the cookies on Silpat liners. Then he did all the dipping, followed by all the sprinkling. I think they turned out so cute!
