Kylie Jenner picks nature-themed baby name, but not the one fans predicted

Kylie Jenner fans were on to something when they sleuthed out hints at what her baby's name would be, but they didn't quite hit the mark.
According to many, the reality star and boyfriend Travis Scott were planning to name their daughter Posie, as an abbreviated option of Mariposa (the Spanish word for butterfly). They were right in that the first-time parents went with a nature-inspired name. But, rather than Posie, the baby girl will be called Stormi Webster.
Surprised by the Webster part" Me too, but it turns out Travis Scott is a stage name, and the new dad's birth name is Jacques Webster.
BabyCenter had a hunch nature names were on trend. In a rundown of 2017 baby name news we noted which were gaining popularity in particular: Some new parents are choosing earthy names such as River (up 26 percent for girls and 6 percent for boys), Forest (up 26 percent for boys), and Willow (up 32 percent for girls).
Others are picking weather-related monikers such as Storm (up 44 percent for girls), Sky (up 20 percent for girls), and Cloud (up 23 percent for boys).
The fiery name Ember raced up the charts for both boys (up 47 percent) and girls (up 28 percent). Blaze got hot, too, rising 19 percent for boys.
