Last-minute lovers cookies for Valentine's Day

Yesterday I got the following reminder in my inbox:
You have signed up to bring two dozen sweets or treats to the preschool teacher luncheon at 12pm. Please have your goods to the lounge by 10:45am.
Crap. Who sends a reminder the day of the event"
(Ahem. Who doesn?t write these things down on her calendar")
In short, I had 30 minutes to get a treat to school or the teachers were in grave danger of having no sweets or treats. In other words, pandemonium.
I knew I didn?t have time to bake from scratch, but I did have some chocolate chip cookie dough in the fridge. It wasn?t even homemade cookie dough ? we?re talkin? straight from the roll Pillsbury ? but I had to make it work. Unfortunately, everyone knows I bake for a living so I couldn?t show my face with plain old from-the-package cookies. What?s a girl to do" A girl gets out one of her silicone baking molds and stuffs the cookie dough in it. Fast. And you should too because these cookies got so many stinkin? compliments I could barely stand it. Did you go through all the trouble of rolling these out and cutting them" No. Did you have these made at a bakery" No. How did they turn out so perfectly smooth on top" Because the top is actually the bottom ? the smooth silicone forms it smooth and flat.
I got my silicone mold from the dollar section of Target but they can be on your doorstep in 48-hours right here. You will use these again and...
