LILLEbaby's cool new color-your-own carrier
by Joyce Slaton posted in Products & Prizes
They say coloring is in for adults, but this is the first combination coloring page/baby carrier that I've ever seen, and it's really cool:
I love structured baby carriers, and LILLEbaby's Complete is a goody. It holds babies safely from 7 to 49 pounds, from infancy to the preschool years, with no inserts required. You can comfortably carry your baby on your front (facing in or out), hip, or back. It retails for $130 (and up to $160 for some special editions, like this honey of a Tokidoki pattern).
But taking a good carrier and making it in a color-your-own pattern that you fill in with fabric markers, now that is an idea that makes me want to show you pictures.
LILLEbaby sent us a sample of the ColorMe to check out; I handed it off to San Francisco mom of three Susan Leff, who says she's mostly been using a stroller for her youngest, toddler Lilah, because Lilah didn't seem to like carriers.
But she likes this one. And so does her mom.
Susan says she's going to sit down with her two older kids and color in the carrier; we agreed it was pretty sweet to have something that the older kids can make for the baby. How sweet it would have been to have had the carrier when Susan was pregnant. Something to make to welcome the new baby.
We missed that deadline, but Susan and Lilah have been looking mighty cute when I see them in the hallways of the elementary school.
This is not a sponsored post; all opinions are my own. ...
