It wasn't all that long ago that Carrie and Craig Kosinski received the devastating news that they weren't able to conceive. Today, the Wisconsin couple are the very proud, very busy parents of six children.
The family's incredible journey began in 2013, when Carrie heard from an old high school acquaintance. The woman was pregnant with twins at the time, and asked if the Kosinskis might be willing to adopt the children when they were born.
"It took us awhile to agree that we would do it," Carrie recalls, though she says that she and her husband had discussed the possibility of adopting one day. "But we finally agreed that that was what God had in store for us."

The next year, the birth mother contacted Carrie again, this time about her older set of twins, JJ and CeCe. Unable to care for them, she wanted to know if Carrie and her husband would take them in as well. Again, the Kosinskis agreed, and their family grew by two more. Remarkably, JJ and CeCe share a birthday with their younger siblings - they had been born on February 28, 2013.
Carrie and Craig's family wasn't complete just yet, though. Last year, the couple welcomed twin daughters Clarissa and Karraline, conceived via in vitro fertilization. And yes, they were born on February 28.
