With two days until her due date, expectant mom Crystal Beaumont?Delong knew her baby could come at any time. The sudden and severe onset of labor still shocked her, though!
Crystal says that she was spending the evening of February 7 at her home in Ontario, Canada, and, apart from a bit of back pain, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She got up to go to the bathroom - and that's when her contractions seemed to suddenly kick in.
"I just felt like I had to go to the washroom and my body just started pushing and contracting on its own and out she came."
Out she came, all 8 pounds of her - right into the toilet.
The speedy delivery also came as a shock to Crystal's mom Tina, who was with her at home. "She screamed. She basically went ?ow? and I kind of saw something. I wasn't sure what,? the new grandmother recalls. ?I went to go get the phone and hit 911 but I didn't have enough time to hit dial, and there, baby girl, we just had to grab her.?

They did quickly call 911, and paramedics arrived soon after.
Despite the unusual circumstances, the delivery was free of any major complications and baby Miranda arrived safe and sound.
