Mom honors stillborn baby with dazzling rainbow glitter maternity shoot

A brave mom?s stirring rainbow-themed maternity shoot is the most dazzling thing you will see today.
The set of photos were part of a larger maternity and then newborn photo shoot captured by Ohio-based Nicole DeHoff Photography, meant to honor mama Samantha's angel baby Victoria, and her rainbow baby Abigail. In the above image, Vaseline was applied to allow the glitter to adhere to Samantha?s beautiful pregnant form.
Her baby Victoria was stillborn at 22 weeks due to a prolapsed umbilical cord. To honor sweet Victoria, Nicole explains about the glitter rainbow theme carried throughout the photo shoots, "We were going to honor Victoria with the sparkle that she left behind with all of us."
Other rainbow images like this one show a mama full of hope, but still very mindful of how she got to this moment.
Sadly, I know from experience how crushing it is to lose a child. I agree with Nicole, who said no one should ever have to experience this life-altering pain.
I am so deeply moved by this photo of Samantha that imagines her daughter walking beside her.
Nicole reveals they all felt that Victoria was watching over them while these photographs were taken.
As for me, I feel my angel baby's presence often, especially during my current rainbow pregnancy. I know she is watching over her soon-to-be born baby brother, and her still-grieving mom.
