Mommy hack: Reset your baby?s clock for fall

One thing I've learned from having four children: A mom?s life revolves around getting kids to and fro.
Last year was our first experience with school. Two out of my four boys went off to preschool while I became a glorified chauffeur. I won't lie -- it was tough. I was so underprepared I felt like I was drowning.
This year, I vowed, things would be different.
After a summer filled with late-night bonfires with endless s?mores, swimming, big trampolines, fireworks, and family vacations, we have started our school preparations. To make the transition from summer to school a bit easier, we are doing a trial run of the school schedule for a whole week before it starts. Surprisingly, a big part of this equation is getting our non-school-aged children acclimated to the new regime.
Even though my youngest, George and Charles, won?t be joining their brothers at school, their whole life is about to change too. They will be at the mercy of Mom?s schedule, while Mom is at the mercy of the big boys? schedule.
Everyone in the family (including the baby) will have new wakeup times, mealtimes, snack times, nap times, and bedtimes. I used this list from our very own BabyCenter Experts as a guide to getting my little boys (especially 7-month-old Charles) on our school-year schedule.
