Do you occasionally (or every day) get up at the crack of dawn to feed everybody breakfast and then forget to make yourself anything"
Or maybe you remember to eat, but it's stuffing the kids half-eaten bagels in your mouth or slurping the remainder of their cereal milk.
Or, more likely, you forego the food for a ginormous cup of coffee and call it good.
Ladies, we gotta eat. We gotta eat well. It's not negotiable. It's not a luxury. And it's particularly important in the morning, before the day gets away from us.
This is what I do most mornings, because as much as I'd like to prepare a real breakfast for myself -- if it's not quick, I won't do it. So this is a way to combine my coffee, protein, calcium and fruit into one quick meal. I think it's delicious and usually double everything so my hubby can have one on his way out the door too. If you're really rushed in the morning, you can have all this in the blender the night before and just throw the banana in last minute and blend. You can also add protein powder if you want more that what's in the greek yogurt.

1/2 cup chilled brewed coffee (I make it in the Keurig right when I get up and stick it in the freezer for 20 min.)
