If your kids are anything like mine, they have an enormous appetite for knowledge. When they aren't asking "why"" they are showing me a new skill, sharing a fact they learned in school or blowing my mind with information I didn't even know.
This has been happening a lot in my house since we were sent some amazing books from National Geographic Kids. At age 7, my son Oscar immediately lunged at Weird but True 8, the insanely popular series full of interesting and at times, crazy information.
In fact, he read through all 300 hundred "outrageous facts" not once, but twice in as many days! Here are two of his favorites:

We also received a copy of 5,000 Awesome Facts (About Everything!) 3 and the National Geographic Kids Almanac 2017. These books are stuffed with fascinating facts and the gorgeous imagery National Geographic is known for.
I love the colorful images in these books and the fact that my kids are learning real information in a fun and humorous way. It's a win win for all of us!
