Pretty much any healthcare provider that sees new moms has a lactation consultant ready to help with breastfeeding problems. But seeing them involves making phone calls, scheduling an appointment, putting on clothes, and getting down to the clinic/hospital/office...none of which is easy with a newborn. When you're having trouble breastfeeding, when you really need somebody, you're alone in your house, maybe even in the middle of the night.
That's why long-distance lactation consultations are a natural outgrowth of your phone's video capabilities.
