On Thursday, more than 500,000 Diono car seats were recalled because they might not protect kids in the event of a crash.
A total of 519,052 child car seats are affected by this voluntary recall, including the following models: Radian R100, Radian R120 (pictured above), Radian RXT (pictured above), Olympia, Pacifica, and Rainier (pictured below) convertible and booster seats. Recalled seats were manufactured between January 2014 and September 2017 by Diono, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

"If our convertible child safety seat is being used with a lap and shoulder safety belt (type 2) or with our SuperLATCH system, or top tether the child safety seat is unaffected."
