Overwhelmed by your baby registry" A veteran and first-time mom share their top picks
by Joyce Slaton posted in Products
There are so many things you need for a new baby, and so many brands and products, that making a registry can be head-spinning whether you're a first-time or an experienced mom. Even if you know you need, say, a stroller, you'll soon learn that there are many different types, each with their own pluses and minuses. And even once you settle on a type, you haven't chosen a brand, style, color, optional accessories, oh, and by the way, does it work with your infant car seat"
It's dizzying! Do you ever wish you could just have an experienced person lead you around a store to tell you exactly what you need" We can't help you there. But sometimes, hearing what other people picked and why can help you make your own choices. With that in mind, we asked two different moms ? one a first-timer, one pregnant with her fifth child ? to tell us a little about what they registered for and why. We hope what they?ve learned can help you. Because if you can?t be 100 percent prepared for your new life, you can at least try your hardest, right"
