She played a mom on the small screen for several years, now Parenthood star Erika Christensen is about to experience the real thing.
The 33-year-old actress and her husband Cole Maness welcomed their first child on Tuesday, June 21. A rep for Erika confirmed the happy news, telling People that their baby girl Shane Maness arrived weighing 6 lbs, 3 oz.
Erika tipped her fans and followers off that an announcement was imminent when she Tweeted yesterday, "I'm in labor. Right now."

Erika and Cole's baby name choice of Shane for their little girl is completely on trend as gender-neutral names continue to be hugely popular. From Jessica Simpson's daughter Maxwell Drew to Leighton Meester and Adam Brody's daughter Arlo to Naya Rivera's son Josey, celebrity parents are definitely embracing this hot baby name trend. Parents outside of Hollywood seem to be warming to it as well. In fact, one BabyCenter mom recently confessed she too was thinking of the name Shane for her baby girl on the way. The response from other posters was, well, less than enthusiastic this time around.
"Shane is definitely NOT unisex. It's allllll boy," wrote one.
