Photos: Duchess Kate has her hands full with the kids

It's a major milestone moment, but admittedly not one that most of us parents have to worry about. For the royal family, though, it's a pretty big deal.
Princess Charlotte made her first ever - and first of many - appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony this week, joining the rest of the royals as they celebrated the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. Under the watchful eye of their parents Kate and William, the 13-month-old and her big brother George, 2, stole the show at Trooping the Colour parade and military fly-by, an annual tradition that dates back to the 17th century. Little Charlotte was dressed in pink from head-to-toe for the occasion, while her great-grandmother, the guest of honor, opted for a surprisingly eye-popping shade of neon green. And doesn't the Duchess of Cambridge look particularly stunning" If I ever had an excuse to wear a giant, fancy hat, Kate's flower-adorned Philip Treacy number is the one I would choose. It's gorgeous.
