My idea of summer fun with three small children involves pool days instead of nightly baths, ice cream for lunch at least once a week, sticky, sunscreened-filled kisses and hugs, and plenty of movie nights filled with popcorn and sleeping bags.

This has been the best summer of my life. My children are 5, 4, and 2, and they bring joy to every summer activity, from washing our car to racing in the pool. I know so many moms dread summer and count down to September school days, but I'm not there. I'm in the heart of summer fun and I never want these weeks to end.
How is it possible we're already halfway done when we've only had one water balloon fight, one beach day, and only seventeen billion loads of swimsuit and towel laundry" From gardening to beach days, this is a summer to remember. Check out these kids doing summer fun right:
