A day that started out as a normal appointment at her birth center ended in an actual birth for this second-time mom.
"When she was told she was 5 centimeters dilated, and still not in labor, she was given the choice to stay and see if they could try and move things along for her as naturally as they could," her birth photographer, Jessica Thomas of Under My Heart Birth, explained to BabyCenter. Because she lived about an hour away, the mama decided to stay with her toddler, although according to a blog post, Jessica says she hadn't exactly planned on including the child in her second birth.
