Ever wished you could whisper a few words of advice in younger you's ear" We can now take a peek at what that meeting might look like, thanks to the creative Conor Nickerson.
Through a project titled, "Myself hanging out with myself," the Canadian photographer experimented with adding his current self to old family photos.
Take a look at the photos, which were originally taken between 1997 and 2005...
"I gathered all the old hats and t-shirts that I could find and did my best to put myself into childhood moments which, aside from these photos, remain only a distant memory," Conor explained.
"The result was learning a lot about Photoshop, but also an amusing, strange, and surprisingly introspective collection of photos of myself hanging out with myself."
Making the images look even semi-believable was a challenge because the quality of our pictures has evolved so greatly in recent years. "It involved a lot of blurring, sharpening, and noise to try to get it to look like an older photo," Conor told Reddit admirers of his work.
Naturally they had suggestions on what he tackled next, including: "Photoshop yourself into your parent's life-events. Maybe as the priest at their wedding, the doctor at your own birth, etc."
Sounds like he's game, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out -- but in the meantime I'm feeling a bit worried I'm missing out on opportunities to snap pics! M...
