When Laura Kowalski asked her nearly 4-year-old son what he wanted for his birthday party theme, Evan's answer caught her off-guard.
But, oh, did this awesome mama deliver. So epically, in fact, that a local news station picked up their story.
Even for those who aren't fans of over-the-top, themed birthday parties, I'm willing to bet most anyone would have LOVED to be invited to this little boy's big day. That's because the theme of Evan's fourth birthday takes the cake. I mean, just check out this phenomenal piece of confectionery perfection.
It's Mrs. Doubtfire! Â He chose Mrs. Doubtfire, the 1993 family classic, for his birthday theme.
Kowalski, who happens to be a BabyCenter Community member, shared the story behind her son's quirky choice with fellow parents in the Bargain Hunters group. Last month, the Wyandotte, Michigan, mom wrote: "My youngest turns 4 soon and his party is may 13. He recently started soccer so naturally I ASSumed he'd choose soccer as his theme.
