I am a Pokemom?but what does that mean" It means I'm getting more out of, and may be even more obsessed with playing Pokemon Go than my 11- and 13-year-old children are.
If you haven?t yet heard, Pokemon Go is the brand new global gaming phenomenon that is more popular than Twitter, more downloaded than Tinder, more engaging than Facebook, and actually gets you up out of your chair and out into the real world. Notwithstanding hesitations about privacy and safety everyone is playing Pokemon Go.

 
Including moms. While I don?t know that any scientific study has been done on the demographics in the, um, like 4 days that this game has been out, anecdotal evidence points to moms everywhere playing. One mom I know posted ?I'm at the park with the kids watching them play, everywhere I look people's noses are in their phones. I'm like what on earth" Then I say really loudly 'Is everyone in this park playing Pokemon Go right now"' Everybody ...EVERYBODY ... looks up from their phones and say 'I am' in a resounding chorus?? Other stories I?ve seen posted in our community include:
?I was walking around and almost walked into 2 other people who were also not watching where they were walking as we were all looking at our phones so we make awkward eye contact and I say 'Pokémon"' To which they reply 'yeah! Have you caught anything good' lol we then wondered around the park while people looked at us like we were all craz...
