Pregnancy photos bridge the miles between military parents-to-be

Nicole Bedwell's husband, Navy Corpsman Wesley Bedwell, has been deployed overseas since November - just a month after the couple found out that they were expecting their first baby.
Though he wasn't able to be with her throughout the pregnancy, Nicole, 19, wanted to find a way to include Wesley. When it came time to book a maternity photo shoot, she decided on the perfect way to do just that, by incorporating her husband, who happened to be thousands of miles away, into the pictures. Traci Fugitt, owner of Traci Lynn Photography in Mabank, Texas, was only too happy to help.
"I just wanted him in the picture because he wasn?t able to be here during the whole pregnancy so she cropped him in," Nicole explains. The result" Well, it's only one of the most moving maternity photos I've ever seen.
"With Wesley being overseas, I had an idea to use the Texas bluebonnets to emphasize how she was MILES away in Texas, literally 7000 miles, and yet they were both waiting for Pyper, together," Traci writes on her blog.

When Nicole saw the finished image, she says she was moved to tears.
"It's been really emotional for me to have my husband gone my whole pregnancy, so the fact that Traci was able to include him in my maternity session was very emotional. We will never be having our first child again. He's my family, so having him included touched my ...
