It's been almost a month since Bachelorette alumni Ali Fedostowsky shared her hilarious "mom jeans" pregnancy announcement. While she's clearly thrilled about the baby news, it doesn't sound as if she's been having much fun.
The 31-year-old mom-to-be updated fans on her rough first trimester in a post on her web site AliLuvs.com
"The first trimester was not fun and was really hard for me. It was rough because I was sick all the time! I lost about 7lbs in my first trimester because I couldn?t really eat anything. I only ate clementines and dry toast for about a month between weeks 7-12. I remember breaking down in tears once because all I wanted was to want a pizza. It?s like I knew I liked pizza, I knew how delicious it tasted, but the thought of it made me sick to my stomach.... I felt like I constantly had a hangover but I never got to enjoy the fun part the night before. That?s the best way I can describe my first trimester, one long hangover." Ali doesn't shy away from sharing the sometimes unpleasant realities of pregnancy, going on to reveal that on top of the nausea and exhaustion she suffered terrible constipation: "Have you ever cried because you couldn?t go #2"" she asks.

I'm guessing a lot of moms know exactly what she's talking about. We hear a lot about the morning sickness, and rightly so, but that awful first trimester constipation doesn't tend to get talked about very much.
