I think it's safe to say that Summer is finally here. The days are getting hotter and the evenings are staying pleasant. The weather is perfect for sitting on the porch swing and chatting with friends and family. What is better than a nice ice cream sundae while chatting on a warm evening" So, here?s a cool treat for you to enjoy this summer, one that would be fun for the 4th of July! Red, white and blue banana splits!
The prep work is easy and they come together so fast. Add a fun little festive toothpick flag to make it patriotic or a paper umbrella for a pool party, and you are GTG (good to go!). Aren't they so fun"

We made a fun little video to show you how easy they are to put together (because a video is so much more fun than photos). You can view it on NoBiggie. They're so big that one banana split could easily feed two people. All it takes is to prep the fresh fruit. Admittedly it's lots of chopping (I like the pineapple and the strawberries all cut up pretty small), but it is oh so worth it. It's a delicious and colorful treat that your whole family will love.

It?s been so hot here in Utah?I know I can?t complain to you AZ peeps, but it?s still hot. We are pretty much living off of popsicles, ice cream and icy cold beverages.
