Ridiculous bargains moms love: Best baby gear under $30
by Joyce Slaton posted in Products & Prizes
Parents like things that work. They don't have time or patience to fiddle with tools or objects that look great but function poorly. They have to fill that bottle, change that diaper, rock that baby, get it done.
So there's no price-snobbery amongst parents. If something works, they'll buy it, use it, and spread the word. That's what the thousands of parents who vote in our yearly Moms' Pick Awards do, and every year we see inexpensive, hard-working baby gear that rises to the top.
These products can be found on the shelves of discount department stores and mass-market big-box chains. They're humble, they're hard-working, and they beat out products that cost far more (but don't perform nearly as well. For example, take this IKEA Antilop Highchair:
It's sleek, it's easy to use, it's comfy, it's fabulously easy to clean, it's sturdy enough to seat child after child. And how much does this wonderful object cost" An almost outrageous $20!
Here are 8 more products that are just as great and just as reasonably priced.
