There are tons of safety devices on the market, but Safety 1st's line of OutSmart locks, covers, shields, and protectors is the first that's ever made us laugh. What's so funny about a cabinet lock, you ask" Well, OutSmart was clearly designed by someone who knows how kids operate -- a great big useless decoy button or panel is on the front of every OutSmart product.

Kids trying to get into the refrigerator (or cabinets, or to stick a fork in the outlet) will push that decoy button all day long, never realizing that the real buttons are concealed under a layer of plastic on the top and bottom of the lock's works.
