Say what" Chocolate peanut butter BANANA cookies!
by Lindsay Weiss posted in Life & Home
Looking for something different than plain old chocolate chip cookies" These are a fun treat that my daughter Kate thought up and asked me to figure out. She calls these Funky Monkey cookies -- I think a word play on the Chunky Monkey ice cream from Ben & Jerry's.
All three of the flavors -- chocolate chip, banana and peanut butter -- play well in this cookie because none are overpowering. It's so fun to take a bite and get a little bit of each one!
These are a soft batch cookie because of the banana. Very moist and tender, but not fall-apart tender. Just like a soft cookie should be. I may have eaten a few of these for breakfast this morning because...er, BANANA"
