Scientists find "baby brain" actually makes women better moms

It turns out the longer you've been "on motherhood," the mushier your brain gets. Not unlike being on drugs, am I right"
Unfortunately for me, I am on my fifth baby and my brain now probably has the consistency and function of a large bowl of oatmeal.
However, there is an upside. Unlike the effects of chronic drug use, scientists have found an actual positive reason for the mental haze that accompanies pregnancy and motherhood. Yay!
In 2016, a large group of neuroscientists studied the effects of becoming a mother on the brains of 25 different women. The women were given an MRI to view brain activity before becoming pregnant, throughout their pregnancy, and more than two years postpartum. The results were shocking. The scientists were able to conclude that baby brain is very real. And it actually makes women better mothers. Seriously!
So, to me, this pretty much means that my recent incident of trying to call someone on a calculator (due to my pregnancy brain) makes me the best mom ever.
Here is how scientists came to their conclusion.
Through magnetic resonance imagining (MRI), scientists conducting the study found that areas of gray matter concentration changed vastly from pre-pregnancy to post. In fact, the researchers went as far as saying they could tell a mom from a non-mom just by looking at any woman's brain scan.
Scientists say that the brain of a man or non-mother will have a heavy concentration of gray mat...
