Should you ever comment on a pregnant woman's body"

Pregnancy can bring out best in people. Everyone wants to congratulate me, shower me with gifts, and I've found complete strangers offering up their seats on public transportation, letting me cut in line, and giving me their best wishes.
Of course with the good comes the bad and these same well-meaning friends (and strangers) have offered up their comments on my body. A few of my pregnant friends have also shared stories with me about not-so-nice comments from their in-laws, old men at church, and random strangers on the street regarding how they look. This got me thinking, are there any appropriate times to comment on a pregnant woman's body" Should I be flattered if someone wants to offer me their input on how I'm carrying, the weight I've put on (and where it's located), or even how they feel for me because I look like I must be feeling pretty rough" After considering these things I determined that there are a few guidelines that should be followed when deciding if you should comment on a pregnant woman's body:
