Sip and Sees are in! Unfamiliar with a "Sip and See"" It's a small gathering/party hosted after the baby is born to give friends and family a chance to meet the baby, sip a drink, bring a present, and celebrate the new baby and mama.
If you're wondering what kind of present you should bring to a Sip and See, I've got you covered. From classic gifts (like baby wash and swaddle blankets) to more nontraditional items (like postpartum underwear and meal gift cards), here are some gifts that will wow the Sip and See crowd.
FOR THE BABY
Baby Wash  - You're going to want something gentle and with little scent (in case your little one has any sensitivities). Knotted gown - Our babies lived in knotted gowns in their newborn days. We love the gowns because you knot them at the bottom to create a mini swaddle and when diaper changing time comes (which it always does), you can easily un-knot. It is so convenient for mama and daddy and comfortable for the baby.
Swaddle blanket - Swaddle blankets are a must and you can never have too many. Bonus points if the swaddle says something cute like "My life would 'succ' without you" and has succulents on it.
Diapers - You can never have too many diapers. Trust me, I'm a mom of three. These come in super cute prints, too.
