Summer Infant Babble Band, the monitor you wear on your wrist

Do I ever have an unusual monitor to show you today -- the Summer Infant Babble Band is an audio monitor with a parent unit worn like a wristwatch.
It seems like most of the monitors on the market right now are kinda silently battling it out: Do they work with your phone/computer, or do you view or listen to your baby on a separate remote-control-like parent unit"
Pros and cons to both, but the Babble Band sidesteps the question by putting the audio on your arm instead. How does it work" Here, see:
I didn't show it on the video, but the wristwatch is just what transmits the sound, there's another plug-in unit that captures it. You can't use a battery, possible negative if you have a nursery setup where there's not a plug. It should be set up at least 3 feet from your baby's crib, because, not to be morbid, but babies have strangled on monitor cords. Note the plural in that last sentence. Keep the cord secured 3 feet minimum away, all will be well. I always photograph the baby gear in the box, so that I can put it back looking nice. We typically donate our used, tested gear in San Francisco to the Homeless Prenatal Program
