The best Amazon Subscribe & Save orders for new parents
by Joyce Slaton posted in Products
Amazon Subscribe & Save is truly a godsend for new parents. Without having to think about it, or, God forbid, get your baby and body and soul together to get out to the store, the stuff you need arrives on the regular. So when you're in the setting-up-for-baby mode, set these things up and you'll be grateful later.
A few of the finer points of Amazon Subscribe & Save: You'll save 10 percent more if you schedule five or more deliveries to happen on the same day. You can schedule deliveries to happen monthly, or in intervals up to 6 months. When you order a Subscribe & Save deal, you lock in the price you pay for the item, so whether the price goes up or down, that's what you'll be paying (until you cancel the subscription). And there's no guarantee that the price is the lowest you'll find out there -- but you won't have to go shopping or do anything other than get boxes from your lobby or front porch, and pay your credit card bills.
1. Diapers and wipes
For the love of Pete, get yourself a diaper subscription as soon as possible, because you're not going to believe how fast your baby flies through them. Each baby has her own rhythm, but 8-10 diapers a day, or even more, are not unexpected in the newborn phase. Do the math and you can see if you're using disposables, you'll be going to the store a lot if you don't create a subscription.
So figure a couple-300 hundred diapers a month at first. Later you'll pare that numbe...
