This easy pumpkin pull-apart bread recipe will make you a hero

I am pretty much a hero in my house today since I actually made these for breakfast. This is a major feat in my house because my oldest begins school at 7:40, meaning we have to leave the house at 7:15. So breakfast of any kind that requires actual preparation or, you know, cooking, doesn't ever happen because I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON.
(That is the understatement of the century.)
But I hobbled out of bed and threw this together in my sleep, basically. It made the house smell so amazing that the kids actually got themselves out of bed and peered down the stairs thinking it was Christmas morning because someone had actually cooked them breakfast.
Sure, this recipe is cheating because it starts with canned biscuits. But if said canned biscuits enable you to sleep 30 minutes later on any given morning you have to seize that moment and sleep like it's your job for those 30 minutes. Rip open the biscuits and stir the pumpkin goodness together. Layer 'em all up and throw 'em in the oven while you stir up the glaze. I promise the end product tastes nothing like canned biscuits. This one is a keeper.
Easy Pumpkin Pull-Apart Bread
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup granulated sugar, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 large egg
1 can (8 count) Pillsbury Grands Biscuits (homestyle or buttermilk, not flaky)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
