We always knew we made a difference. We always knew what we do every day was nothing short of a miracle but to hear these stories from complete strangers assures us that we are saving lives one child at a time.
Please take a moment to read an experience one of our instructors had last week. The overwhelming feeling knowing that an 8 month old baby we just taught was able to save his own life brings tears to our eyes.
“I walked into a local salad bar to pick up a quick water, salad and a cup of fruit of course! After I ordered my salad and went to grab the rest of what I wanted, I proceeded to sit down at my table & started writing my cards for work. The lady brought me my salad & said everything had already been paid for by the man in the corner, who then proceeded to walk out of the place. She told me that he said he saw the sign on my car “Would your child know what to do if they fell into the water"” And that he appreciates what I do… He told her he’d never known anyone who could teach his 8 month old cousin to save himself if he fell into the water… He went through Baby Otter and sure enough a few weeks later he fell into the wate...
