The next time you're having "one of those days" with your kids, think of Rebecca Brett and know you are not alone.
The 24-year-old UK mom recently shot to internet stardom thanks to a hilariously honest Facebook post in which she confessed to a pretty epic parenting fail.
"Mum of the Year award most definitely does not go to me. I wandered into the market and Ava begged me for some 'smiley face' pasta she saw. So I bought it, cooked it for the girls for lunch today," Rebecca, mom to girls Ava, 7, and Emilia, 3, wrote. "Thought it looked a bit odd, re-looked at the bag and it?s only bloody penis pasta. How could I not even realise even while cooking it"! So my 3 year old and 7 month old are currently sat eating a bowl of dicks for their lunch. Life." That will make an interesting entry in the baby book!
In Rebecca's defense, penis pasta does look a little like smiley faces. Right" When you're rushing through the grocery store with two kids in tow, I can see how it would be an easy mistake to make.

Rebecca does admit she was mortified when she first realized that her daughters definitely were not eating smiley face snacks, but says, "I quickly burst into hysterical laughter at my blunder!"
That's my favorite part of this story, the fact that Rebecca could find the funny in her slip-up. We all have those cringe-worthy mom moments, but if you can laugh at them they don't seem quite so ...
