To the little jerks on the school bus, I?m watching you

I never thought I would be the type of mom that would want to bite someone -- especially a child?s -- head off. But, here I am ready to lose my mind on a bunch of 7-year-olds.
Why is there such a disconnect in child temperament these days" I feel like back in the day kids were kids, sometimes one kid was an angel and other times that same kid was a jerk. It kind of evened the universe out. We had a very well-rounded population of mediocre children. It was great.
And, these mediocre kids rode the bus and went to school and everyone was happy.
Now, it seems, we have the kids that are usually angels and the kids that are unfailingly jerks.
Trust me, I am no stranger to good kids acting like jerks. I have four boys. And while deep down I know they are good kids (I mean, they cried when the grandma died in Trolls), I am not delusional in thinking they aren?t capable of acting like a bunch of a-holes. However; here are my thoughts on how you can tell if a kid is a good kid, or not. Good kids generally reserve their bad behavior to take out on their siblings and parents.
After several recent incidents I am starting to suspect there might be a couple of not-good kids (I hate to say bad without 100 percent certainty) riding the same school bus as my boys. Just yesterday Frankie calmly told me that he ?gave? his favorite toy car to a big kid on the bus because the big kid simply told Frankie he felt like keeping it for himself.
