Track your baby: 6 devices that make it easy

Let's get one thing straight right now: We're not telling you that you need to track your baby's development. In fact, if your baby is healthy and thriving, all you need are regular doctor's appointments, common sense, and a gut instinct that you trust. Your baby will grow, he will develop, and it's all going to be just fine.
On the other hand, there are those babies who cause their parents worry. Perhaps she's on the small side. Or you had to leave her and go back to work before you were ready, and you want detailed reports from your nanny. Or she was born early, with compromised health, or to parents who simply feel reassured by a data stream that inconvertibly proves she's growing properly. If having that data stream makes you feel like you have just a little bit more control over the (admittedly, terrifying) process of turning a newborn into a toddler, then you go on with your bad self. Track away! You can do the job with a pencil and a piece of a paper. Or you can enlist any number of helpful devices.
And apps" Well, yes, as you know, there are an army of apps ready to track everything from your baby's first breastfeeding session to the 1,784th diaper. But though there are apps we depend on, the thing about standalone apps is that they need parents to input their own information. Which, when you're time-crunched and exhausted, isn't the easiest to do.
