Trader Joe's applesauce recalled for possible glass shards

If your family shops at Trader Joe's, it's probably a good idea to stop what you're doing and check the refrigerator.
Trader Joe's has announced a voluntary recall of three types of its unsweetened applesauce. According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA,) this recall comes after Manzana Products Co., Inc. -- which makes applesauce for Trader Joe's -- received reports from consumers of glass found in their products.
Product description
Affected applesauce is packaged in 24-ounce glass jars. Consumers can find the "best before" date stamped on top of the lid. Here are the three types of unsweetened applesauce included in this recall:
Trader Joe's All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce

? All "best before" date codes through Aug. 8, 2018

All potentially affected applesauce has already been removed from stores and destroyed.
What you should do
