Try this creepy Halloween slime recipe with your crafty kids

I found this little package on my kitchen table this morning.
We are slime headquarters over here. My oldest has been running a slime business on Instagram (Seaside_.Slimes) and Etsy, so it's safe to say we have slime coming out our ears. But this little guy packaged up all jack-o-lantern style made me smile, and I figured there are a few kiddos out there who might love to make this too.
As always we're Borax-free over here, since there's so much slime happening in my house. Here's how your kiddos can make this Halloween slime:
Halloween Slime
A note about using food coloring in slime...more is not always better. After a while, it won't get any darker but it will start rubbing off on your hands. Stick with just a couple drops of good food coloring. We love the gel colorings from Wilton. 8 ounces Elmer's glue
3/4 cup shaving cream
2 drops orange food coloring, or to desired color (or combo of yellow and red - mixed together first)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 to 3 tablespoons saline contact lens solution, divided
Pour the glue into a medium bowl. Stir in the shaving cream and the food coloring. Add the baking soda and stir until smooth.
Add 2 tablespoons of the contact lens solution and stir slowly. The mixture should begin to harden, becoming stringy. Continue mixing slowly until a ball of slime forms. (We basically add contact solution until the mixture no longer sticks to the bowl.)
