The other night I was getting ready to go to a business dinner when I overheard my husband shout to our son, Everest: ?Grab your safety goggles! We have science to do.?
You get it, right" That immediate dagger of fear that shot down my spine" It?s a scary thing to have a head full of hot rollers and overhear anything regarding your toddler and safety goggles. (In hindsight, my toddler not wearing safety goggles is potentially more frightening.) So I ran downstairs to find the two guys at our kitchen table, where my son was indeed wearing his goggles and a glass mason jar was situated inside a metal pan.
