Ultrasonic aromatherapy oil diffusers: Here's why you need one
by Kelly Wilbanks posted in Products
My two littles (Evie, 2 1/2, and Annie, 10 months) and I were on week three of our colds when we arrived at my friend's home for a playdate. It took almost an hour before I could smell the oil being diffused in the air, but I soon found myself breathing better. I wasn't the only one who noticed. The other mama at the playdate had lots of questions about the oil diffusers too.
And apparently there was a fourth member of our group that day. After I got home my friend sent us this: "This was on my Amazon app when I just opened it. Was Alexa listening to our conversation"! Don?t think too much about it. It will freak you out. But here is good info!"
I chose to not think too hard about it, as my friend suggested, and was grateful for Alexa's contribution. Aromatherapy and essential oils are something I've tiptoed around. I know of a few oils I like and the reasons they are good for me: Lavender, peppermint, tea tree, but I haven't gone full-hog and rid my medicine cabinet of all my over-the-counter medications. At this point, though, I'm ready to try almost anything to help my littles with their colds. I can't give them medicine to help with the mucous so it's been steam, snot suckers, and comfort cuddles to help them. An aromatherapy oil diffuser would be another comfort measure and/or it might actually help them recover and keep from getting sick.
Since it can get confusing here is a brief summary of the differences ...
